EA Discusses Overstrike’s E3 Absence

EA has explained why Insomniac Games’ first multiplatform project, Overstrike for PS3 and Xbox 360, missed E3 2012.

Speaking to CVG at E3, EA Labels President Frank Gibeau said that EA was “very excited” about Overstrike and explained that Insomniac was taking the time to “nail” both the gameplay and quality of the title.

It felt like we would stand out better later in the summer once we’ve hit some key milestones and we’re able to show off more.

In addition to Overstrike, Insomniac is working on Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault, a brand-new Ratchet title scheduled for release on the PlayStation Network for PS3 this fall. The PSN title also seemed not to be present at E3 this year.

If there are any updates about either Overstrike or Ratchet & Clank: FFA, PSLS will keep you posted.
