Ratchet & Clank Trilogy Goes Gold, Launch Trailer Now Live

Those of you looking forward to reliving the early days of Ratchet and his trusty sidekick Clank have a lot of blasting and platforming to look forward to, as all three of the classic PS2 titles will be headed to stores later this year with a fresh coat of high definition paint. Sony has just announced that Insomniac’s Ratchet & Clank Trilogy has gone gold and to celebrate this occasion, they’ve released a launch trailer.

The game is set for a European release later this month (Europe on Wednesday 27th June,Australia and New Zealand on Thursday 28th, UK and Ireland on Friday 29th June), leaving gamers stateside waiting until fall. With HD collections for Sly Cooper, Jak and Daxter, and a host of other popular PS2 series’ already available, I don’t think I’m alone in saying that this Ratchet & Clank collection is long overdue.
