Survey From Sony Teases Possible Upcoming PS+ Features, Gran Turismo Vita

It looks like Sony’s PlayStation Plus service may be getting even sweeter, as a leaked survey is hinting at a number of new features that may be on the way for subscribers.

Thanks to a leaked survey from a member of the IGN community, it appears that Sony is considering the possibility of providing consumers with the both the PS3 and Vita versions of a game if they purchase it for one of the platforms. According to the survey:

Imagine that as part of PlayStation Plus, every time you bought a game on either PS3 or PS Vita, you would be entitled to get the game on the other console absolutely free. So, if you bought Resistance on PS Vita, you could download Resistance on PS3 for free. Or if you got FIFA on PS3, you could download the PS Vita version for free.

Sounds like a pretty compelling reason to subscribe to PlayStation Plus, not to mention the fact that Sony has already beefed up the service’s offerings with a whole bunch of free titles including inFAMOUS 2, LittleBigPlanet 2 and many others.

In addition, the survey hinted at the possibility of Gran Turismo coming to the Vita, saying: “You told us earlier how interested you would be in buying the PS Vita version of the latest Gran Turismo game. Knowing that you might be able to get a discount on the PS3 version of the game, how interested are you now in the PS Vita version?” Bringing Sony’s popular racing franchise to the struggling handheld sounds like a logical step, so this should hardly come as a surprise.

It is important to note that this is simply information from a survey and in no way confirms Sony’s plans for the future. As such, be sure to keep it locked the PlayStation LifeStyle for future news on upcoming software for the Vita and future updates for PlayStation Plus.
