Ubisoft Announces The Expendables 2 Videogame For PSN, XBLA, and PC

Ubisoft has announced that they’ll be releasing a video game based on the upcoming film, The Expendables 2.

The Expendables 2 Videogame tells the story of Barney Ross, Gunner Jensen, Hale Caesar and Yin Yang, who have been tasked with rescuing a kidnapped billionaire described as “extremely valuable.” However, things go awry and “all hell breaks loose,” which paves the way for the brand of action that the films are known for.

The game is an action title that supports up to four player local or online cooperative play. It has cinematic, close quarters combat, in addition to action segments where players control vehicles. Locales for the game include Somalian deserts, Burmese jungles and more. Gamers can also compete in several challenges to compete for a top slot on the game’s leaderboards.

The Expendables 2 Videogame will release sometime this summer for PSN, XBLA, and PC (via digital download).
