Spanish games and animation studio Moonbite has announced survival horror/comedy FPS Zombeer, Zombies and Beers for PC, Mac, and HD consoles.
Zombeer, Zombies and Beers is being developed on a multiplatform engine in partnership with Padaone Games. In the game, which takes place in “a dark and near future,” the world’s population is being turned into zombies by a mysterious plague. The game’s protagonist, K, awakens alone in a Mexican bar after a night of “overindulgence.” K realizes that his hangover doesn’t feel normal and discovers that he’s been bitten by a zombie and the plague virus is taking over him. He finds out by accident that the only way for him to fight the virus is to drink beer, but he must drink in moderation — if he drinks too much, he’ll totally lose control.

Thanks to our creative team and our background in animation, we’ve designed Zombeer as a horror comedy full of action and beer, which is perfectly true to our tastes. Our team is very passionate about pop culture so the game proudly features many references to movies, comic books and games that we like. We have said that if Zombeer had a fragrance, it would be a mix between Las Vegas and a Tijuana dive bar. We can’t wait to unveil it and feed our fans with more videos and images of crazy and naughty zombies until the game releases!

Zombeer, Zombies and Beers is scheduled to release on HD consoles, PC, and Mac before the end of the year.
