Bloodrayne 2 to be Added to the Sony’s Library of PS2 Classics

While there isn’t a whole lot of retro PlayStation content to get excited about this week, it looks like Bloodrayne 2 may aid in filling that void, as a new report indicates that it will be added to the list of PS2 Classics this week.

Siliconera is reporting that this vampire centric action game will be headed to the PlayStation Store in just a few days. For those that aren’t familiar with the title, Bloodrayne 2 centers around a lethal redhead named Rayne who is tasked with stopping a group of her relatives from unleashing their evils schemes on the world. By covering the planet in “the Shroud” vampires will be able to walk around without fear of sunlight, and naturally, Rayne must stop them.

The Bloodrayne titles are pretty graphic games, so keep that in mind if you plan on picking this one up.  As the aforementioned plot indicates, vampires play a major role in the franchise, so you can expect plenty of blood.

Sony has yet to confirm this as a PS2 Classic, so stay tuned to PlayStation LifeStyle for future updates.
