Publisher Electronic Arts has released the debut gameplay trailer for their upcoming Battlefield 3 expansion pack Armored Kill.
As the name suggests, the DLC and the trailer focuses on vehicular combat – a key differentiator between BF and COD – with twenty new vehicle unlocks, five new drivable vehicles (including mobile artillery, tanks, and ATVs) as well as five new assignments and four new maps. You’ll also be able to spawn inside of an AC-130 gunship.
Armored Kill is the third of five scheduled expansion releases, coming after Back to Karkand and Close Quarters and it’s no surprise that we got the trailer now, after DICE received criticism for a perceived focus on Battlefield 4. AK is out this September, although if you’re a Premium member you’ll get access 2 weeks earlier. The next expansion, Aftermath, releases this December and the final, End Game, should come out next March.
