In celebration of its fourth year in collaboration with Nissan on “GT Academy”, Sony has announced Gran Turismo 5: Academy Edition for Europe.
According to the EU PlayStation Blog, the title will launch this fall and include a number of additions packed in with the game. The Academy Edition bonus content is as follows:
- Complete Pack (Car Pack, Course Pack, Special Paint Pack, Racing Gear Pack)
- Car Pack 2
- Car Pack 3 and Course Pack 2
- The Nissan GTR driven in this year’s Nurburgring 24 hour race by series creator Kazunori Yamauchi.
Gran Turismo 5: Academy Edition will launch in Europe on September 26th for €29.99 (£19.99). There’s no word on whether or not this special edition will be coming stateside, but considering the franchise’s popularity outside of Europe, one would expect it to branch out beyond the region to a wider audience.
