City Interactive Delays Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 to 2013

If you were looking forward to playing City Interactive’s sniper sequel later this year, you’re going to have to wait a bit longer, as Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 has been delayed to next year.

Namco Bandai PR director Lee Kirton broke the news to VideoGamer, confirming the game’s delay and assuring the outlet that more information will be coming soon.

It’s key we all want this title to be fantastic in the genre and the leading Sniper game for sure. The engine is fantastic and the level of polish is also key to the title’s success. As soon as the official announcement through distributors is available I will provide it.

This isn’t the first delay for the game, as Ghost Warrior 2 was pushed from its initial August release date to October not too long ago. Perhaps the busy holiday season has forced City Interactive’s hand? Then again, early 2013 is growing increasingly crowded as well.
