John Riccitiello Will Remain CEO at EA, Not Being Replaced by Peter Moore

Electronics Arts CEO John Riccitiello will retain his role as CEO of the publisher despite recent rumors indicating the contrary.

Just a few weeks back, it was thought that Peter Moore would be replacing Mr. Riccitiello, but EA has just confirmed that this will not be the case. According to Electronic Arts chairman Larry Probst:

At this point in time, there is absolutely no plan to replace John as the CEO. We have a high level of confidence in both him and the management team.

We think the strategy is spot on going forward and we have a high level of confidence they will execute well against that strategy.

With heavy-hitting titles like Dead Space 3, Crysis 3 and the recently announced Battlefield 4 on the horizon, expect big things from the publisher in the future. Let us know in the comments below which EA published title you are most excited for.
