Leviathan DLC Will Modify Mass Effect 3′s Ending… Again

August 8, 2012 Written by Alex Osborn

If BioWare’s Extended Cut DLC for Mass Effect 3, still wasn’t enough exposition to leave you satisfied with the game’s ending, you’ll be pleased to know that the upcoming Leviathan downloadable content will serve up even more information at the game’s conclusion.

According to a report from Eurogamer, if you replay the ending after having completed the new DLC, there will be additional dialogue during the game’s final moments.

SPOILER Warning: Do not proceed if you haven’t completed Mass Effect 3 yet, as the content to follow references particular sections from the game’s final moments.

During the last few moments of the game, when Shepard is face-to-face with the AI child, the ghostly figure divulges additional information on the origins of the Reapers and brings the information revealed in the Leviathan content full circle. If you’d like all of the details spoiled before the DLC is released, you can check out the leaked dialogue on BioWare’s forums.

Leviathan is set to release later this summer for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
