Jet Set Radio HD Coming to PS3 Next Month for $9.99, Coming to Vita a Month Later

Sega’s wacky Dreamcast classic Jet Set Radio is getting an HD release on the PS3 and Vita via the PlayStation Network. Until this point, we’ve had to settle with a “summer” release window, but now the publisher has finally revealed when the title will be available for download.

Jet Set Radio HD will launch for the PS3 on September 11th for PlayStation Plus members, leaving the rest of the gaming public patiently waiting until the following week on the 18th. Those who want to play the game on their Vita will have to wait a bit longer, as the handheld version won’t arrive until October 16th.

The game will also bear the affordable price tag of just $9.99. Considering that this is an actual HD remake and not just a straight port, that is quite a deal – although you’ll have to buy it twice if you want it on PS3 and Vita.

We were able to get some hands-on time with the Vita version at E3, and boy were we impressed. For more information on the game, you can read our preview right here.
