BioWare Unveils Release Date for Leviathan DLC

EA and BioWare have just revealed the release date for their long awaited Mass Effect 3 single-player DLC Leviathan. The campaign add-on will be available for download on August 28th across all platforms in North America, while PS3 owners in Europe will have to wait an additional day.

Leviathan was announced just a few weeks back and provides more story content that delves deeper into the history of the Reapers. Not only that, but playing through the ending again after completing the DLC will result in additional exposition at the game’s conclusion.

If you’re interested in jumping back into the shoes of Commander Shepard and exploring more of detailed sci-fi universe that BioWare has created, you won’t want to miss out on this DLC pack. Naturally, BioWare hasn’t shared too much on exactly where the story goes in this expansion in the hopes of providing gamers with some surprises when the add-on finally launches.

Will you be picking up the Leviathan DLC later this month? Let us know in the comments below.
