EA Praises BioWare for Their Success Despite Fans’ Issues With Their Latest Efforts

First it was the outcry over the Dragon Age franchise with the decision to go with a simpler, more action-heavy sequel. Then it was the lack of proper end-game support for Star Wars: The Old Republic. And well, you don’t need me to remind you about the debacle that surrounded the ending of Mass Effect 3.

However, despite these shortcomings, Electronic Arts COO Peter Moore spoke to Eurogamer expressing his faith in the studio, insisting that “they’re doing great.”

You say the last 12-18 months, I think of three things: I think of Star Wars: The Old Republic, I think of what Mass Effect 3 has done and all of the offshoots we’ve done of that, and then a little bit further back Dragon Age. So from that perspective I think the studio has done great.

How do you feel BioWare has done this past year or so? Did Mass Effect 3 leave you hungry for more of that universe? Are you eagerly anticipating the inevitable announcement of Dragon Age III? Comment below and let us know what you think.
