Until Dawn Is Move Only, ‘No Plans Right Now’ For DualShock Support

October 3, 2012 Written by Jason Dunning

Until Dawn was announced at Gamescom 2012 in Germany earlier this year, showing off PlayStation Move controls as you play through a HUD-free and teen-filled survival horror adventure. A lot of people, myself included, were wondering if the game would also include DualShock 3 support in any way and Sid Shuman of the PS Blog has answered this question.

Replying to a user that asked, begged even, to include controller support, he replied with this:

The game was designed around Move from day one, but we’ll keep you updated should there be any announcements around DualShock support. There’s no plans right now.

After the disappointing Move-only Sorcery earlier this year, I’m very skeptical about Until Dawn. The adaptable storyline based on your decisions does have me intrigued, but I need to see a lot more of the 2013 game before I’m fully sold on it.
