Resistance Collection Announced, Coming This Winter

October 4, 2012 Written by Alex Osborn

While Insomniac has since abandoned the franchise and Nihilistic’s PS Vita spin-off left much to be desired, there’s no denying the importance of the Resistance series to the PlayStation 3 — after all, the first game served as one of the console’s few must-play launch titles.

As such, Sony has just announced that the next entry in their lineup of collections is a bundle of all three chimera-fested titles that launched on the PS3.

The Resistance Collection, which includes Resistance: Fall of Man, Resistance 2 and Resistance 3, plus all of the DLC that has been released, will launch sometime this winter for $39.99. If for whatever reason you haven’t yet played these games and have even the slightest affinity toward first-person shooters, you absolutely need to check this out.

We still don’t know an exact release date for the collection, but Sony has assured us that they’ll be revealing a firm date for us very soon. Let us know whether or not you plan on picking up the Resistance Collection in the comments below.
