IO Interactive Talks Storytelling in Hitman: Absolution via New Trailer

October 10, 2012 Written by Alex Osborn

Storytelling is an important component in Hitman: Absolution, and IO Interactive has gone to great lengths to make sure they deliver on this front.

With carefully placed cutscenes to break up the action and movie-inspired camera angles, the team at IO is upping the ante from a production standpoint. Of course, the true heart of the series is its gameplay, so telling the story without impinging on what gives the franchise its identity is of the utmost importance.

Check out the trailer below to see how they’ve gone about accomplishing this.

If you haven’t already done so, be sure to check out the controversial nun trailer as well as IO’s “Tools of the Trade” video, which highlights Agent 47′s lethal arsenal.

Hitman: Absolution is scheduled for release on November 20th for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. We had the opportunity to get some hands-on time with the game back at E3 and were quite impressed.
