Vita Version of Jet Set Radio Delayed

If you were hoping to relive your Dreamcast-filled memories with Jet Set Radio on the PlayStation Vita, you’re going to have to wait a bit longer, as the game has been delayed to a later date.

The game was supposed to launch today, following the release of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions which arrived last month, but according to a report from VG247, the portable version has been pushed back because of “necessary development optimizations”.

It’s a real bummer for all you Vita owners desperate for quality software, but hopefully it won’t take Sega too long to work out the issues. We’ll be sure to update you on when it is made available for Sony’s shiny black handheld.

In the meantime, you can head over to our E3 preview of the game and read up on why we think it’s a great fit for the handheld.
