New DmC DLC, Vergil’s Downfall, Coming to the PSN Early 2013

November 13, 2012 Written by Jason Dunning

When DmC Devil May Cry was originally unveiled, did you get outraged by the lack of Vergil and smash your computer screen? Well, Capcom has heard your anger and will remedy that starting early next year.

A brand new piece of DLC for DmC called Vergil’s Downfall will tell the untold story of Dante’s twin brother, Vergil. In this, you will be able to play through a brand new storyline complete with new weapons, combos, enemies, and locations.

The release date is set for sometime shortly after the January 15th release date of DmC and it will run you $8.99. If you happen to pre-order the game from GameStop or EB Games Canada though, you’ll be given a promo code to get it for free.

And in case you were wondering, Capcom made note that this piece of DLC is not included on the DmC disc and must be downloaded from the PlayStation Network.
