Remember a few months back when it was announced that LittleBigPlanet 2 would be getting Cross-Controller support? Well, the date is finally set and we’ll be able to download it starting on December 18th in North America and December 19th in Europe.
This new piece of DLC will run you $4.99 and allows you to use the PlayStation Vita as a controller for LittleBigPlanet 2,taking full advantage of the handheld’s features, including front and rear touch. It will also give you another screen for which you can view the action from.
In addition to new tools that will allow you to create Cross-Controller levels for everyone to play, you’ll also be able to play in a new Sackboy adventure as he joins a group of Space Pirates, trying to find long lost treasure. Using the Vita to solve puzzles, it will help show off what Cross-Controller has to offer.
Keep in mind that you will need a copy of LittleBigPlanet 2, a PS3, and a PS Vita to play the Cross-Controller pack.
