Demon’s Souls Attacks the PSN on Tuesday, January 8th for $20 (Update: UK PSN on January 23rd)

Update: Namco Bandai UK has announced that Demon’s Souls will come to the UK PSN on January 23rd.

Original Story: Over three years after its original release date in North America, Atlus has announced that Demon’s Souls will come to the PSN on Tuesday, January 8th for $19.99, which should help extend the life of the servers for quite a while. Even after that long of a period of time after launch, Demon’s Souls is still the company’s highest-selling title of all time.

To help celebrate the digital release, there will be a Pure White World Tendency event running from January 8th – 14th. This will slightly reduce the difficulty of the game, feature enemies dropping less upgrade stones and more healing items, while also opening up a few areas and NPCs that were previously only accessible in the Pure White State.

Will you be downloading Atlus’ one and only entry into the Souls series before Namco Bandai took over publishing duties? Let us know in the comments below and be sure to check out the Dark Souls II premiere trailer if you haven’t already.
