It was announced last month that anyone who had a Mass Effect 3 save file on their hard drive would immediately be given access to the N7 armor once they boot up Dead Space 3 starting on February 5th. Continuing with this, it has just been revealed that anyone with a Dead Space 2 save file will have the Planet Cracker Plasma Cutter unlocked as soon as you reach the first bench.
According to the Dead Space website, the Planet Cracker Plasma Cutter will have slightly better parameters over the starting one and will also have all 8 circuit slots unlocked from the outset.
