Call of Duty: Black Ops II Now 25% Off at Amazon US

Ahead of the PS3 release of the Revolution DLC in 2 weeks, Amazon has slashed the price of Call of Duty: Black Ops II by 25%.

The uber-popular but oft-hated first person shooter is now $44.99 for PS3 and 360, $15 less than the usual price of $59.99 on the website of the world’s largest online retailer. The Wii U version is now $41.49 (31% off) and the PC version is $43.98 (16.01% off). The game is also available on the PSN, but sadly not at a discount.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II raked in a whopping $1 billion in its first 15 days, became the best selling game in the US last November, and the best selling game in the UK for 2012. However, the yearly release of the franchise has led to many feeling fatigue and irritation at the lack of innovation found in the generation’s most powerful franchise. The fact that another CoD is coming out this year doesn’t help either.

Do you already own this game? Will the discount make you pick it up? Or are you angry that we even published an article on it? Let us know in the comments below.
