Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Release Date Apparently Leaked, “Coming to Next-Gen Consoles”

Over on the countdown site for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag last night, the above picture was discovered by typing ‘v’ into the end of the URL (doesn’t work anymore), apparently leaking an October 29th release date ahead of the official reveal on Monday, March 4th. With the 29th a Tuesday, and one day before Assassin’s Creed III launched in 2012, this date seems to be very legitimate.

In addition to the late October launch, the image says that it is “also coming to next-gen consoles” and that we can expect to receive a “collectible Todd McFarlane poster” when you put the money down on a pre-order. The “next-gen consoles” obviously points towards a PS4 version, likely releasing on the same day as the system.

Since this news isn’t confirmed by Ubisoft, check PSLS on Monday for all the official details about Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.

Would you buy the PS3 version in October, or wait for the PS4 version? Let us know in the comments below.
