Update: David Bull, Associate Product Manager at SCEA, answered a few questions about the Best of PlayStation Network Volume 1, revealing that Sound Shapes and When Vikings Attack! won’t include Cross Buy, meaning you don’t get the Vita versions for free.

Not only that, you have to install each game individually on the PS3′s HDD (disc still required to run the games), and they do not come with any DLC.

Original Story: All the way back on April Fools Day, the ESRB rated the Best of PlayStation Network Volume 1, “a compilation of four PlayStation Network titles.” This compilation has now been confirmed, and you’ll be able to pick it up at retail starting on June 25th.

Priced at $39.99, it includes When Vikings Attack!, Sound Shapes, Tokyo Jungle, and Fat Princess, meaning that you save $15 over buying all them separately via the PSN.

Also out in June is the Jak & Daxter Collection for PlayStation Vita, which is now confirmed for a June 18th release date at $29.99.

Do you like the line-up for Volume 1? Is $39.99 too high of a price tag? What do you think should be included in Volume 2? Let us know in the comments below.
