Allowing some European gamers to breathe a little sigh of relief, Sony has taken out an ad in the UK for the PS4, which points towards a 2013 launch (click on the image for a larger view):
While there’s always the chance that the PlayStation 4 doesn’t actually make an appearance in Europe during 2013, this ad seems to confirm the earlier rumor that Sony is “prepared to do whatever it takes” to get the new system out this year.
As of right now, we’re pegging the PS4 for a November 2013 launch, and when Sony confirms the actual release date of the PlayStation 4, we’ll be sure to let you know.
