The Last of Us Multiplayer News “Over the Next Couple of Days,” Single Player to Get One DLC Pack

It’s been a bit of a busy day for The Last of Us and its Season Pass today on PSLS, but Naughty Dog finally confirmed everything we already reported on, while also adding a few pieces of information we didn’t know.

As Naughty Dog puts it, this is the first time they’ll “be offering single player DLC” because they’ve “got more of the story to tell.” While it looks like single player will be getting one DLC pack within the Season Pass, there will be two DLC packs devoted to multiplayer content. These include additional multiplayer maps and “other expansions,” with the promise that we’ll be hearing more about the multiplayer in the game “over the next couple of days.” Leaving us with yet another tease, we were told that “it’s an experience that continues the themes, tone and tension from the single player campaign.”

When details about The Last of Us’s multiplayer come to light, we’ll be sure to tell you about them. And for those of you wondering, it was confirmed that the PSN version of the game will go live at midnight PST on June 14th.
