Puppeteer Retail and PSN Pre-Orders Receive the Exclusive Theatrical Pack, “No Plans” for a PS Vita Version

Puppeteer is set to release on the PlayStation 3 this September, and Sony has announced that if you pre-order the game you’ll receive the Theatrical Pack. This DLC pack includes the Puppeteer soundtrack by Patrick Doyle, a dynamic theme, and exclusive PSN Avatars for Kutaro, the Moon Witch, and Man Bear Pig Moon Bear Kin.

Regarding that Theatrical Pack, Mick Perona revealed on the PS Blog that when Puppeteer becomes available for pre-order in the next few weeks on the PSN, the pack will be given away for free. He urges you to do this if you want that content because “after that you won’t even be able to buy the Theatrical Pack as it’s exclusive to pre-orders.”

Mick wasn’t done there, as he replied to someone who asked whether we might see a surprise E3 announcement for a Vita version with “No plans to bring Puppeteer to the Vita, but this is an incredible must-own title for any PS3 owner. You’re gonna love it!” The shooting down of a Vita version originally started last August, so this comment makes it seem like they haven’t changed their minds since.

Along with all this, three new trailers were brought out, revealing the two remaining heads – Hook Power of the Moon Pirate and Brute Power of the Moon Wrestler! – and getting you hyped for E3:

Are you going to pre-order Puppeteer? Do you think it will eventually make the leap to Vita? Let us know in the comments below.
