Rocksmith 2014 Edition Confirmed, Releases This October (Update: PS3, Xbox 360, PC)

Update: You can expect it on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC, with the game featuring 50 songs, including Stone by Alice In Chains, Walk This Way by Aerosmith, Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door by Bob Dylan, The Chimera by The Smashing Pumpkins, Don’t Look Back In Anger by Oasis, and ultra soul by B’z.

It will cost $79.99, or $59.99 for anyone who already owns the Real Tone Cable.

Original Story: After an overly long musical demo on the stage during Ubisoft’s E3 2013 Press Conference, it was confirmed that Rocksmith 2014 Edition is in the works and it releases this October, complete with a new Session Mode where the game’s band reacts to what you do. Specific systems weren’t detailed, but it’ll probably be out on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.

You can expect to hear, and play along to, some Alice in Chains during Rocksmith 2014 Edition, and if any other consoles are announced for the game, we’ll be sure to let you know about what they are.
