Ubisoft Teams Up With Michael Bay For Ghost Recon Film

Ubisoft Motion Pictures has announced that they’re collaborating with Warner Bros. Pictures and Michael Bay on a Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon feature film. Bay is best known for his Transformers series, along with Armageddon and Pearl Harbor.

Jean-Julien Baronnet, CEO of Ubisoft MP said:

Having one of Hollywood’s boldest feature film directors attached to bringing Ghost Recon to the big screen is a dream come true for us. And with Warner Bros. unmatched track record of successfully producing, marketing and distributing big movies from the industry’s top talents, we think this project has huge potential.

According to Variety, Bay’s Platinum Dunes Studios are hoping to hire a writer within the next month, with Bay as a possible director.

Ubisoft are also working on an Assassin’s Creed movie with Michael Fassbender and Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell film, with Tom Hardy.
