With too much information to fit into a simple updated on the earlier LittleBigPlanet post today, we can let you know that the competition has to do with Tearaway, Media Molecule’s upcoming PlayStation Vita title set for release in November.

To enter, all you need to do is download the free Tearaway Competition Pack from the PlayStation Store (today in North America, tomorrow in Europe), which includes a music track from Songport and tons of stickers, then get creating some Tearaway inspired levels in LittleBigPlanet 2 on PS3 or LittleBigPlanet PS Vita on PS Vita.

By tagging those levels either [TearawayCompetitionUS] or [TearawayCompetitionEU] and publishing them before 5PM PST/8PM EST/midnight GMT on September 14th, you’ll be entered for a chance to win a PS Vita and the Rare Prize Crown for LittleBigPlanet. Four runner-ups will then receive some exclusive signed Tearaway artwork.

From all of the entries, they will pick out one Grand Prize Winner to receive a PS Vita and the Rare Prize Crown for LittleBigPlanet. Meanwhile, four Marvellous Runner-ups will also be selected to receive some exclusive signed Tearaway artwork!

Full contest details can be found at the United States and European sites.

While you’re probably sick of any type of tease about LittleBigPlanet at this point, Steven Isbell, LittleBigPlanet Community Coordinator, replied to a someone who was excited for gamescom next week and hoped to hear something about LittleBigPlanet. Here’s Steven’s response:

My lips are sealed for now but I can tell you that we have a great selection of new content on the way. :)

Given that the PlayStation Europe Twitter account sent out this tweet today, it would be disappointing if we didn’t hear anything about LittleBigPlanet at the event:

For anyone wondering about The Last of Us costumes as well, those “will be here very soon now, I promise!”

Are you going to enter the competition, or just take the free DLC? Let us know in the comments below.
