If you didn’t line-up at midnight for Grand Theft Auto V and are looking for a great deal on the game, Toys R Us in the United States has you covered. By buying the game from them either today or tomorrow, you’ll be given a free copy of any Rockstar game $19.99 or lower (here’s the eligible titles, which includes Red Dead Redemption and more). As well, if you buy the game today and use this coupon (Via), you’ll be given a $10 gift card that is valid until November 2nd.
Then, if you decide to trade-in Grand Theft Auto V before October 17th, GameStop is guaranteeing that you’ll receive $30 for it. With Grand Theft Auto Online releasing on October 1st and promising so much content, there probably aren’t a whole lot of people who will trade it in, though the option is there if you want it.
When it comes to Metacritic, reviews are still coming in for Grand Theft Auto V, meaning that it could change in score at some point, but as of right now, GTA V is right behind GTA IV as the 2nd highest rated PS3 game (despite being better), while also sitting just ahead of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Batman: Arkham City. On 360, it is highest, just edging out GTA IV – and before fanboys say anything, that is not an indication that one platform is better than the other, as different publications are used for each version.
