It appears as though the excruciating wait for some news regarding DLC for The Last of Us will come to an end very soon as Bruce Straley, Game Director, let loose this message on Twitter:

TheLastofUs DLC info to be revealed THIS WEEK! Hang tight.
Neil Druckmann, Creative Director, then added, “Yeah… What he said,” but when Bruce was asked if today would be they day for the announcement, he only replied with, “Commence tighter hanging… ;).”
This would mark the first DLC news since the latest patch for The Last of Us, which brought along the new Interrogation multiplayer mode.
