Capcom Europe is “Currently Evaluating its Structure”, Report Suggests Major Restructure

In a story from the most recent issue of MCV (via Videogamer), they are reporting that Capcom Europe is “undergoing a major restructure following a difficult year”and more than half of the employees face “redundancy, with a number of jobs set to merge.”

Issuing a statement on the matter was a representative from Capcom Europe:

Following a restructure at its US operation, Capcom’s European organization is currently evaluating its structure to ensure it is in the best position to take advantage of the changing market conditions the industry is facing.

It’s been a very tough year for Capcom, with two of their latest big releases – Remember Me and Lost Planet 3 – doing very poorly, but they did have one bright spot in the form of DuckTales Remastered.
