Irrational Games is cutting it very close to their originally planned release date for Burial at Sea Episode 1, which Ken Levine said would release before the PS4 and Xbox One.
Yes, on November 12th in North American and November 13th in Europe, you’ll be able to buy the Burial at Sea Episode 1 DLC for BioShock Infinite. It will be sold separately for £9.99/$14.99, or free as part of the Season Pass.
With Burial at Sea Episode 1, you’ll be sent back to Rapture “on the eve of its fall from grace. Explore the underwater city, try your hand at a grift or two, and even encounter some old “friends” from the original BioShock.” The combat has been rebalanced with more of a focus on stealth and resource management, while adding a favorite weapon from the original BioShock, the return of the weapon wheel, a new Plasmid, Gear, and Tears.
Ken Levine, Creative Director, talked about the upcoming content:
This is a love letter to the fans, but it’s also the beginning of a story that will give gamers a new perspective on the BioShock universe. With Burial at Sea, we built a Rapture not from BioShock and BioShock Infinite scraps and pieces, but with environments almost entirely crafted from scratch.

Burial at Sea Episode 2 is still in development and it allows you to see the world through Elizabeth’s eyes, complete with a new storyline and stealth-oriented gameplay.
