UK Sales Charts: Assassin’s Creed IV Holds off Battlefield 4 for 1st Place, Grand Theft Auto V Slips to 4th

Thanks to a three day head start, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag was able to hold off Battlefield 4 for top spot in the UK. Unfortunately, it wasn’t good news all around for either title, as neither of them matched the sales of Assassin’s Creed III or Battlefield 3, both of which were the highest week 1 debuts in their respective franchises.

As for other debuts, WWE 2K14 started its run in 7th, while Angry Birds Star Wars only managed to place in 30th.

Here’s the top 15 selling games in the UK for the week ending November 2nd:

  1. Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag
  2. Battlefield 4
  3. FIFA 14 (up 5%)
  4. Grand Theft Auto V (down 13%)
  5. Batman: Arkham Origins (down 56%)
  6. Football Manager 2014
  7. WWE 2K14
  8. Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition (up 53%)
