Last month, the PS3 to PS4 digital upgrade program removed Watch Dogs (for obvious reasons) in North America and Europe, while also adding Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition for Europe, joining NBA 2K14 as two games that weren’t announced for the upgrade in North America.
Thanks to a tweet by Ed Boon though, he has confirmed that the PS3 to PS4 digital upgrade will work with Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition, as you can clearly see in this picture (the ESRB rating gives away that it’s a US copy of the game; upgrade should also apply to Canada):
Based on the sticker, we can tell that the upgrade will cost $9.99, and you’ll have until March 31st, 2014 to take advantage of the offer.
With Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition launching on November 12th for PS3 and November 15th on PS4, it remains to be seen how many people would actually take advantage of this, but it’s good to see it offered either way.
