Update: Sucker Punch has confirmed that the February 7th street date isn’t correct, “but we’ll be announcing the date soon. Real soon and we think you’ll like the way we deliver the news as well.”
Co-Founder and Producer Brian Fleming then added:
That date is NOT correct, we’re announcing the date this week, tho.
No, that’s not the correct date. We will announce the date this week officially.
So, expect the date to be revealed this week, likely as a big announcement during PS4 All Access.
Original Story: The release date for inFamous: Second Son has been a little mysterious, with an early report pegging it for February 2014, then Sucker Punch saying it had “4 or 5 months left in development” back in October, with Collector’s Editions going up for pre-order, and we’ve now been told to expect official release date news soon.
A new listing from Italian site Multiplayer.com (via NeoGaf) shows what appears to be an inFamous: Second Son PS4 Bundle for €449.90 (the ESRB rating on the game may show how it’s an unofficial image by them), with a release date of February 7th, 2014:
Considering how numerous system bundles that have been listed by Amazon France never made it to North America, if this bundle is true, it’s possible it might not be available across the pond. If Sony does officially announce an inFamous: Second Son PS4 Bundle though, we’ll definitely let you know.
