1 Million PS4s Sold in the First 24 Hours on November 15th

Sony has announced that the PlayStation 4 sold 1 million units during the first 24 hours on November 15th in the United States and Canada, breaking all previous one day console sales.

Andrew House, President and CEO of SCE, spoke to the very impressive numbers:

PS4 was designed with an unwavering commitment to gamers, and we are thrilled that consumer reaction has been so phenomenal. Sales remain very strong in North America, and we expect continued enthusiasm as we launch the PlayStation 4 in Europe and Latin America on November 29. We are extremely grateful for the passion of PlayStation fans and thank them for their continued support.

With 1 million already sold, Sony is well on their way to reach the 5 million goal this fiscal year.
