If you’re looking for a PS4, Canadian retailers were expected to get them today, GameStop USA got them today, and some other US retailers are expecting them on Sunday. Call your local retailer to check stock.

General News

  • Finally giving out some information about Rainbow 6: Patriots, Ubisoft North America President Laurent Detoc said of the game, “We had a core team. They had a good vision. They got started, and then the game wasn’t working. So [they had] to start again.” Detoc added how the game “had to be remade,” but now they’re “going to have the benefit of the new consoles, if and when it comes out.” [Source]
  • With flOw now having a confirmed release date of this Tuesday, Eric Fong of Sony Santa Monica revealed how the PSP version of flOw isn’t eligible for Cross Buy because “it just did not pan out.” You can also expect a “separate trophy list for PS4 and Vita.” [Source]
  • We’re still waiting for Minecraft on PlayStation, but it has now crossed 10 million on Xbox 360, with the original version at 13 million. [Source, Twitter]
  • The new patch for Contrast on PS3 and Xbox 360 is now live. Expect it on PS4 in North America soon. [Twitter]
  • You can expect to hear more about the DC Comics Premium Level Pack for LittleBigPlanet, which releases next week, early next week (probably Monday). [Twitter 1, 2]

  • Even if Surge Deluxe passes QA this year, FuturLab won’t release it until 2014. [Twitter]
  • The latest patch for Need for Speed: Rivals adds the free 2015 Ford Mustang. [Twitter]
  • Patch 1.02 for Injustice: Gods Among Us on PS4 is now available to download. This updates fixes occasional online desyncs, unresponsive network timeouts, an occasional issue with finding an online match with yourself, invite issues for certain router configurations, and WBID issues. [Via]
  • Aaryn Flynn of BioWare said he hopes more information about the next Mass Effect will arrive “sometime in 2014.” [Twitter]
  • The newest Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag multiplayer event is on now (and ends this Sunday), featuring the exclusive Plantation and Fort Saint Mathieu maps in Wanted mode. [Source]
  • EA Sports UFC recently hit Alpha, and to celebrate this they’ve revealed how we can expect to hear about the roster in the coming months, while also releasing a couple screenshots [Source]:
