Representing our second Japanese sales chart this week, Famitsu’s report from December 30th, 2013 to January 5th, 2014 has Pokemon X/Y back on top at over 150,000 sold, with two 3DS games and three Wii U games right behind it.
Following an impressive debut last week, the Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster on PS3 dropped from 182,638 to 50,033 in sales, while the Remaster on PlayStation Vita fell from 134,645 to 35,481. Interestingly, Grand Theft Auto V on PS3 saw a nice bump, going from 28th in the previous week, to 17th after selling just shy of 20,000 copies.
Here’s how each system sold, along with the top 20 selling games in Japan between December 30th and January 5th, according to Famitsu:
