Killzone: Mercenary Patch 1.04 Out Now, Improves Multiplayer Balancing and More

Arriving exactly as expected, patch 1.04 for Killzone: Mercenary is now available to download on your PlayStation Vita. A relatively small update, here’s the list of changes:

  • Revised matchmaking to reduce join game disconnections.
  • Improved multiplayer balancing.
  • Stability fixes.

Looking at Guerrilla Games’ roadmap for Killzone: Mercenary patches, 1.05 will be out early this year and includes two free multiplayer maps, along with Offline Botzone for Mercenary and Guerrilla Warfare modes. Then, following that, patch 1.06 will bring some more refinements and add support for the game on PlayStation Vita TV.

Also, if you haven’t downloaded a new patch for Mercenary in a while, keep in mind that the last one, 1.03, freed up about 800MB on your memory card if you downloaded patches 1.01 and 1.02.

Are you going to get patch 1.04 today, or will you wait until 1.05? Let us know in the comments below.
