Titans may not be falling on PlayStation, but they will be invading, as Curve Studios’ third announcement this month is Titan Invasion. The game is scheduled for an early summer release on PS4, PS3, and PS Vita, with Cross Buy included across all three versions.

Developed by Puppy Games, Titan Invasion combines the PC games Titan Attacks! and Revenge of the Titans, with the former being a “modern, more advanced Space Invaders,” while RotT is “an RTS/Tower Defense mash-up.”

Here’s PC trailers and details for both games, keeping in mind that they’ll be combined together in the PlayStation release:

Titan Attacks!

  • Titan Attacks! is a straight-up, highly polished arcade action title inspired by games like Space Invaders and Galaga, but with many modern features including a full ship upgrade system, online leaderboards and stylish, neo-retro visuals.

Revenge of the Titans

  • Revenge of the Titans keeps the frantic action and the distinctive visual style, but expands the game into a unique mash-up of Real Time Strategy and Tower Defense including over 25 different types of buildings and a deep upgrade system as players progress for 50 challenging levels.

Curve Digital Managing Director Jason Perkins said, “Titan Attacks! and Revenge of the Titans are two full games by their own right, so being able to release them as a single collection with Titan Invasion, and to also be able to offer that as Cross Buy title represents really good value for money for PlayStation gamers.

As for the fourth and final Curve Studios announcement of February, next Wednesday they’ll unveil a “critically acclaimed and best-selling indie game that’s been screaming out for a PlayStation version.” Then in March, we’ll be given more news about Titan Invasion, MouseCraft, and Stealth Inc: Ultimate Edition.
