OlliOlli Grinding to PS3 & PS4 in Summer 2014

We already knew the PS Vita exclusive, OlliOlli, wasn’t going to be exclusive anymore after a PC version was announced earlier in the year, and now the developers have revealed that they’re bringing it to even more platforms.

Noting how “OlliOlli will remain a Vita exclusive until Summer 2014,” Blitworks (PlayStation port of Fez) is bringing Roll7’s game to the PS4 and PS3 this Summer. A price wasn’t given, and when asked about the potential of Cross Buy, Roll7 said, “For those asking about OlliOlli Cross Buy, we’ll look into it. We’re still early on in the process, but will let you know in due course.”

Explaining how the PS3 and PS4 versions of OlliOlli came about, Simon Bennett of Roll7 wrote:

[After the PS Vita version launched in January,] we met with Shahid Ahmad and Spencer Low who help run the Strategic Content team at SCEE, and they recommended that we get the game onto PS4 and PS3. So that’s what we are doing! We have partnered with BlitWorks, based of Barcelona, Spain. We already have a first playable version up and running on the PS4 and a big screen, it’s like our little OlliOlli grew up and got some balls! It really feels amazing on the Dualshock 4 too.

For people who bought OlliOlli on PlayStation Vita, the crash bug fix is coming soon, which will be bundled in a “nice little update that should put a smile on people’s faces.”

In all, OlliOlli will be released for the PS4, PS3, PC, Mac, and Linux this Summer.
