Japanese Sales Chart: Ground Zeroes on PS3 & PS4 Combines for Over 210,000 Sold

It was a crazy week for new releases (especially PlayStation ones!) in Japan, with the top 20 comprised of 14 new entries, including Mario Party: Island Tour for the 3DS, which took home 1st place with over 130,000 in sales. Past that there are three PS3 titles: Samurai Warriors 4 at over 120,000, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes at just under 120,000, and J-Stars Victory VS at just over 118,000.

While PlayStation 4 hardware saw a slight uptick in sales during the week to over 30,000, only one game from the new system made it onto the chart: Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes with just shy of 92,000 copies sold. Sticking with hardware, the PS Vita actually beat the PS4 by moving over 35,000 units, but the combined totals of the 3DS beat everyone once again.

Here’s how each system sold, along with the top 20 selling games in Japan between March 17th – 23rd, 2014, according to Media Create:
