Over 1,000 Developers Are Licensed to Self-Publish on PlayStation Platforms
With the reveal of the PlayStation 4 last year, developers have been flocking to PlayStation platforms in droves. As part of an announcement today, PlayStation has confirmed that over 1,000 developers globally are licensed to self-publish their games on PlayStation platforms. Not only that, since the PS4 unveiling in February 2013, there have been 200 developers licensed in North America.
To celebrate crossing the 1,000 developer mark, this new video was released to salute fans and developers:
There’s over 100 games scheduled to launch for the PS4 in 2014, including DriveClub, The Order: 1886, Destiny, Assassin’s Creed: Unity, Batman: Arkham Knight, Minecraft: PS4 Edition, The Witness, The Elder Scrolls Online, Evolve, Dragon Age: Inquisition, and Dying Light.
