General News

  • Monster Monpiece for the PlayStation Vita is going to see a slight delay in Europe, with the release date going from May 28th to June 4th. The reason for the delay is to allow people in Germany, Russia, and Switzerland access to the game at the same time as everyone else. The North American date of May 27th remains unchanged. • Blue Isle gave this update regarding the PS3/Xbox 360 release of Slender: The Arrival: “I will start off by saying that console versions of the game are absolutely still in progress; our small team of three is working unbelievably hard to make this happen. The bad news is that we are going to miss our first quarter launch window. Porting a game to consoles is a lot of hard work, especially when it’s your first time doing it. This is one heck of a learning process for us as developers, and we humbly ask for your patience while we work through the porting process. To give a status update; the new content for the game is essentially finished. We are currently working on performance optimizations to make sure the game will run smoothly. We originally designed this game for PC only, so this means that we need to go through every single asset in the game and rework or redo it entirely. As you can imagine in a game with thousands upon thousands of individual pieces, this is a lot of work. We’re getting there, slowly but surely.” [Source]
