Japanese Sales Chart: inFamous: Second Son Debuts to Just Under 35,000 Copies Sold

While it didn’t come close to the launch numbers for Yakuza: Ishin, and only narrowly beat out Killzone: Shadow Fall, inFamous: Second Son managed to debut in 2nd place last week with 34,801. inFamous was defeated by Pro Evolution Soccer 2014: Aoki Samurai no Chousen, which topped the charts by selling 35,656 copies.

On the hardware side of things, the PlayStation Vita rebounded to sell over 14,000 units, but was once again bested by the 3DS. In a shocking turn, the Wii U, with no games in the top 20, managed to sell more than the PS3 and PS4 (probably because everyone’s gearing up for Mario Kart 8).

Here’s how each system sold, along with the top 20 selling games in Japan between May 19th and 25th, 2014, according to Media Create:
