Bungie Confirms Destiny Beta Won’t be Under NDA, Players Won’t be Able to Trade Weapons

In the latest Bungie weekly update, the developer has confirmed that Destiny players won’t be able to buy or sell weapons. While players can use them for the Guardians that they control, they are unable to exchange them with other players.

According to Community Manager, Deej, “Basically, if you want that exotic sniper rifle, you gotta earn it.”

In other news, Bungie has confirmed that it will make an appearance at Gamescom 2014 with the much-awaited Destiny in Cologne, Germany. Speaking of the beta, Deej dropped a hint that the invites will be sent out sometime next week. “The next time we have this conversation, we’ll be asking you if you have your actual Beta code,” he said.

Apparently, the Destiny beta won’t be under any kind of NDA either as Bungie wants to see people streaming, sharing, and uploading their adventures. Don’t forget that only those who pre-ordered the game will have access to the beta, which will supposedly run for 10 days.

Where will you spend your time in the Destiny beta? Playing PvP or going after Strike missions with your fellow Guardians?
