Report: Beyond: Two Souls Director’s Cut for PS4 Spotted in Retailer Listings

Remember last year’s cinematic adventure game Beyond: Two Souls from Quantic Dream? Of course you do. If you haven’t played it yet, you might want to hold off as a PlayStation 4 version dubbed “Director’s Cut” has been spotted on a retailer’s listing.

German retail portals Alcom and World of Games (now removed) have listed the so-called Beyond: Two Souls Director’s Cut for the PS4 for release later this year.

If true, then this really shouldn’t come as a surprise since publishers and game makers have been “up-porting” their games to now-gen in the hopes of catching new gamers, as well as those planning to double dip.

Over on gaming forum NeoGAF, it was posted earlier this year that user dragonbane saw input method for the game via the DualShock 4 on a game designer’s portfolio, which was removed the day after. And yes, that too, was called the “Director’s Cut.

While waiting for confirmation from Sony, you might want to check out our review of the PS3 version of the game, or maybe see our Trophy guide to help you earn that Platinum.

Anyone thinking of getting Beyond: Two Souls again or would it need substantial additional content before you even consider doing so?
